Carol J. Maxwell Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship honors the memory of Carol J. Maxwell, who dedicated her career to nursing, as a Visiting Nurse. The Carol J. Maxwell Nursing Scholarship is intended to support students in the School of Nursing in the College of Health and Human Services.

Minimum GPA: None. Students must demonstrate good progress towards completion of their degree (to be determined by School of Nursing Scholarship Committee).

Class Level: Sophomore, Junior, Senior and Graduate: Classified
Financial Need Required:Yes.
Enrollment Requirements: Full-time at time of award and at time of application.

Essay Requirement: Applicants must submit an essay, no longer than 500 words, describing their background, what led them to their current degree program, any experience working in community health, home health, or hospice, and their intent to continue in those areas.
