Chevron Computer Engineering and Computer Science Scholarship
The Chevron Computer Engineering and Computer Science Scholarship is intended to support students in the Computer Engineering and Computer Science area.
This scholarship is open to:
- Computer Engineering or Computer Science students (or information technology related programs or geography information systems)
- Undergraduates and classified graduates
- Minimum GPA: 3.3
- Financial need may be considered but Is not required
- Full time enrollment at time of award and at time of application
Additional Criteria:
- Statement of purpose
- Freshmen/Sophomores:
o A Minimum of 1 membership in a technical society or extra-curricular activity (ex. Society of Women Engineers, Fraternity/Sorority)
o A minimum of 1 Energy related internship OR non-technical work experience preferred but not required
- Juniors/Seniors:
o A minimum of 1 leadership role in a technical society or extra-curricular activity
o A minimum of 1 technical internship related to field of study
o Graduating seniors should have intentions to seek graduate degree immediately following graduation
- Masters/PhD:
o A minimum of 1 technical internship related to field of study
o Thesis/Dissertation must be on a topic that is related to the energy industry
