Lawrence A. Brooks Graduate Conference Grant

The Lawrence A. Brooks Graduate Conference Grant was created to help defray the cost of attending national , regional, and local conferences.

Open to Student who meets the following requirement:

  • History/Humanites concentration, Standard M.A. Program or Public History concentration
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA overall
  • 1) Graduate student who is presenting a paper at or attending a national, regional or local conference (in that order)
  • 2)Grad students in the History/Humanities option, the Standard Program and the Public History Program (in that order)
    *Graduate students may apply in advance or retroactively (within six months of the conference) for funding. In both cases, proper documentation must be submitted to the History Department.
