Honors Study Abroad Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to support study abroad and travel expenses for students participating in the Honors Program at Sacramento State.

Minimum GPA: 3.3 overall GPA
Major: Any

Undergraduate: Junior and Seniors in the Honors program.
Enrollment Requirement: Full-time at time of award and at time of application

Honors Program: Applicants must be a part of the Honors Program at Sacramento State.

Study Abroad: Applicant study abroad experience must be for either one semester, or a
full academic year. Short term travel opportunities will not be considered. Plans must be
confirmed through International Programs and Global Engagement (IPGE) at the time of
application.

Letters of Recommendation: Applicants must submit letters of recommendation from
two faculty members as part of the application process.

Summary Narrative: Upon completion of the student’s international study, the student
will write a narrative summarizing the experience with copies due to the Honors Program
director at the conclusion of the student’s studies and prior to the beginning of the
subsequent semester
