Hornets Policy and Politics Alumni Chapter Scholarship

The members of the Hornets Policy and Politics Alumni Chapter value the education and experiences gained in their years at Sacramento State. This scholarship award assist superior students in attending this great University, while preparing for a career in public policy or in the public sector.

Student eligibility for this scholarship shall include:

• Major in Government, Policy and Politics Administration or students in any major preparing for a career in public policy or in the public sector.
• Eligible class levels: Sophomore, Junior, Senior and Graduate students.
• Minimum GPA of 3.4.
• Financial need may be considered but is not required.
• Full-time enrollment required.
• Enrollment Requirements: Full time at time of award (half time & full time as defined by current Sacramento State catalog)
  May Reapply:
  Student recipients, that meet the scholarship criteria, are eligible to reapply for the scholarship award. The student’s application will be considered by the Alumni Association scholarship committee as part of the entire applicant pool.
