Ignacio Ruiz Scholarship for Future Bilingual Teachers

The Ignacio Ruiz Scholarship for Future Bilingual Teachers was established to honor the memory of Ignacio Ruiz and to support credential candidates pursuing a career as bilingual teachers.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive this scholarship:

• Must be in good academic standing;
• limited to students accepted or enrolled in the teaching credential program with Bilingual Authorization;
• financial need may be considered but is not required;
• must be enrolled full-time at the time of award
