Dr. Caroline S. Turner Memorial Scholarship

The Dr. Caroline S. Turner Memorial Scholarship will be created in honor of Dr. Caroline S. Turner Emeritus Professor in the division of educational leadership and policy studies. Dr. Turner grew up in a California farm laborer campus and became a longtime advocate for student access and equity in higher education. She was prominent in her field, nationally and internationally. The scholarship is intended to support Sacramento State students with a connection to California’s diverse agricultural workforce and pursuant to the criteria outlined below.
