Raymond August Memorial Scholarship

Raymond August was a Minority Engineering Program Student at CSUS until his graduation in the Spring of 1988. Raymond died as a result of a freeway shooting in late July 1989. This fund is being established by a donation from his parents for Minority Engineering Program scholarships.

Open to

• Minority Engineering Program (MEP) student
• Class Level: Sophomore, Junior. Senior or Graduate
• Cumulative GPA minimum of 2.5 GPA
• Completion of at least twelve (12) units towards the requirements for lower-division engineering,
• Applicant must be involved with extracurricular activities that exhibit the candidate’s leadership qualities, inspiration to other students, and support of the MEP program.
