Kenneth Underwood Scholarship Fund for Fine Arts
The scholarship is intended to support students in the College of Arts & Letters.
Mr. Underwood wants to ensure that students who are committed to pursuing a career in the arts have the financial support they need. His passion for the last 40 years has been in collecting ceramic art, and he hopes to nurture the next generation of artists. During his college career, he received a number of scholarships and fellowships which enabled him to achieve his goals. He feels it is time to provide that same opportunity to others.
Major: Art Major in the Bachelor’s Fine Arts or Master’s Fine Arts Program
GPA: 3.0 GPA; Student must be in good academic standing
Class Level: Junior, Senior, Graduate students
Enrollment: Must be enrolled full-time at time of award and at time of application
Students can work with any medium of visual art with a preference towards ceramic art.
