Robin Carter Justice in Action Social Work Scholarship

The Robin Carter Justice in Action Social Work Scholarship is intended to support students in the Social Work department.

Applicants must write a statement, no longer than one page, demonstrating their commitment to combating social injustices in the Black community. The applicant may demonstrate commitment through their work, paid or volunteer work in the community, organizational leadership roles within or outside the university, and/or research projects.

An optional request for a letter of reference from someone who knows the applicant may also be used to demonstrate the student’s commitment to combating social injustices in the Black community.
