University Enterprises, Inc. Green and Gold Scholarship Endowment

The University Enterprises, Inc. Green and Gold Scholarship Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to California State University, Sacramento students who demonstrate his or her enthusiasm and determination to obtain and undergraduate degree, despite personal, financial or other hardships.

Students must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum GPA: 3.0
• Class level: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
• Enrollment: Full time at time of award and at time of application

Additional Requirements:
Must submit an essay up to two pages describing the applicant’s personal challenges, accomplishments, and career aspirations. Examples of what should be included:

• Description of challenging or life changing circumstances that the student had or has overcome to enroll and succeed at Sacramento State
• Awards or special recognition for community or civic service;
• Experience in leadership positions, awards or recognition;
• Academic awards or recognition;
• Letter of recommendation- Recommendation from a member of the community regarding the applicant’s aspiration, and or one letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, faculty, administrator, or staff member regarding the applicant’s determination and academic aspirations.
