Single Parent Scholarship*

The Single Parent Scholarship is intended to provide encouragement and support to a student who is a single parent and is at risk of not completing their educational objectives because of challenging life circumstances. In addition to being solely responsible for raising a child/ children, students must demonstrate the motivation to seek a career in a science, technology, engineering or math field. The single parent must have the child /children living with them without meaningful support from another adult in their home. This award is open to all undergraduate class levels pursuing any major in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Applicant must have a minimum 2.6 overall GPA, be enrolled full time at time of award and at time of application and demonstrate financial need.
