Dave Morse Memorial Fund Scholarship
Scholarship awards to support students at Sacramento State. Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum GPA: 3.4 overall
- Major: Education
- Class Level: Sophomore, Junior, Senior
- Enrollment: Full time at time of award and at time of application (half time & full time as defined by current Sacramento State catalog)
Student must submit with application the following:
List of extracurricular activities and/or employment, awards and achievements. (For example: student government, school clubs, volunteer activities) Must include the date(s) of participation and any leadership roles held.
Personal essay/statement not to exceed two pages, 8.5 × 11 double spaced, describing; “Why you chose to attend Sacramento State, your career goals, and any hardships or obstacles you face in pursuit of your education at Sacramento State, and what are you doing to overcome those hardships?”
Two letters of recommendation (note: one letter must be from a Faculty member)

- Please submit a resume of extracurricular activities and/or employment, awards and achievements, not to exceed one page, which you would like considered by the scholarship committee. (For example: student government, school clubs, science projects, volunteer activity, work experience.) Must include the date(s) of participation and any leadership roles you held.
- Please submit an unofficial copy of your high school transcipt or Sacramento State transcript.
- Sac State Faculty and Staff Letter of Reference Request:
