Kit and Susan Oase Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to support students at Sacramento State.

Students must meet following requirements:

Minimum GPA: 3.3 overall
Major: Open to All Majors
Class Level: Undergraduate/ Graduate
Enrollment Requirements: Full time at time of award (half time & full time as defined by current Sacramento State catalog)
May Reapply:
Student recipients, that meet the scholarship criteria, are eligible to reapply for the scholarship award. The student application will be considered by the Alumni Association scholarship committee as part of the entire applicant pool.

Supplemental Questions

A personal essay/statement not to exceed two 8.5” x 11” pages, double-spaced, describing why the applicant chose to attend Sacramento State, their major and career goals, and any hardships or obstacles they may face in pursuit of their education at Sacramento State, and what they are doing to overcome those hardships. Applicant shall also address the student activities from high school that they are likely to continue at Sacramento State. Applicant shall address how their involvement in the community or within the university might add to their experience or success at Sacramento State.
