EDD Pay-It-Forward Scholarship*
Initiated and supported by Professor Emeritus, Rose Borunda who served the EDD program for many years and in a wide range of capacities, this scholarship encourages Alumni and others to support those in the EDD pipeline with particular emphasis for those experiencing financial challenges.
- Minimum GPA: Cumulative 3.0 GPA (based on all graduate work), in good academic standing
- Major: Ed.D. or Ed.D applicant
- Graduate: Classified and Unclassified Graduate
- Enrollment: Must be enrolled or an applicant to the Ed.D program
- ESSAY REQUIREMENT: Applicants must submit a 500-word essay about what they have learned in the program thus far and how the candidate will use their degree to pay it forward to future change agents in education. Applicants must describe their commitment to equity in education and how they strive to enact an anti-racist leadership paradigm in their work and walk in the world.
