David and Sheree Meyer College of Arts and Letters Scholarship

David Meyer College of Arts and Letters and Sheree Meyer Dean of the College of Arts and Letters are establishing the first College of Arts and Letters scholarship that is open to all majors. The purpose of this scholarship is to support student success, which David and Sheree are passionate about by providing students in the College of Arts and Letters who are showing promise in their major with a scholarship award as a way to recognize their potential and give them a boost to shine. At pivotal points in David and Sheree lives they were recognized by professors who saw something in them and with this scholarship they want to pay it forward.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive this scholarship:

  • Major: All Majors in the College of Arts and Letters
  • Minimum GPA: 2.0 overall GPA
  • Class Level: Freshmen, Sophomore
  • Enrollment: Part time at time of award and at time of application
  • 500 word essay detailing students biography and educational hopes and dreams
    Students must be nominated by a faculty member
