Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta Memorial Scholarship

The Cesar Chavez Memorial Scholarship was established to assist bilingual students from migrant farming backgrounds.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive this scholarship:
- good academic standing;
- limited to students accepted or enrolled in the teaching credential program with the Bilingual Authorization;
- preference given to students from a migrant farming background;
- have a demonstrated commitment to social action in the Mexican-American community;
- be proficient in Spanish;
- must be enrolled at time of award
