Anthony F. J. Martinis Local Law Enforcement Graduate Scholarship

The Anthony F. J. Martinis Local Law Enforcement Graduate Scholarship is intended to honor Anthony F. J. Martinis, a 1969 Civil Engineering graduate of Sacramento State, and the former President of the Northern California Peace Officers Association. This Scholarship is intended to support graduate students in the Division of Criminal Justice and an intent to remain in the Sacramento area after graduation. However, undergraduates encouraged to apply in the event that no graduate students are not selected.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive this scholarship:

  • Have a 3.0 overall
  • Be a Criminal Justice Major
  • Be a Classified Graduate
  • Be enrolled at least half time at the time of the award and application
  • Be a current employee of a local law enforcement agency
