Thomas Swift Government/Journalism Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to support students at Sacramento State and was created by Professor Thomas Swift, a history professor at Sacramento State from 1966 to 1998.

Applicants must:

  • be juniors or seniors currently enrolled at CSUS
  • be Government/Journalism or Political Science/Journalism majors
  • have a minimum GPA of 3.0 overall;
  • be enrolled full-time (12+ units) at CSUS at the time of application and at the time of award
    Financial need may be considered but not required
