Leni Lacson Memorial Scholarship

The Leni Lacson Memorial Scholarship is created in memory of Leonor “Leni” Lacson, MPA, MSW. Leni devoted herself to assisting others-professional and personally. She was known as an advocate for the underrepresented. She was a social worker not just in training, but by nature-connecting people to local services, resources and networks they need. She was generous with her time and welcomed many people in transition into her home. This fund is being established by family and friends as a legacy to continue, through others, the good work Leni began.

To apply for this Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
*Must major in Social Work
*Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior, or a Classified Graduate
*Must be in Financial Need
*Have a GPA 3.0
*Must be at least part-time at time of the award and applying

• Applicants must write a paragraph of at least 200 words expressing “why you are pursuing a degree in social work.”
