Frederick W. Westphal Clarinet

The Frederick W. Westphal Clarinet Scholarship was created to honor Dr. Westphal’s 35 years of teaching at CSUS, his chairmanship of the CSUS Music Department for 13 years, his love of the clarinet, his community involvement in music, and to encourage student musicians through financial assistance.

This scholarship is available to students to meet the following requirements:

• Must be a Freshman
• Enrolled full-time at the time you receive the award
• Must have a least a 3.2 high school GPA (University admission required GPA)
