Center on Race, Immigration, and Social Justice (CRISJ) Empowerment Scholarship

To support students who exemplify the mission of the Center on Race, Immigration, and Social Justice (CRISJ).

Applicants must submit a 1-2 page essay outlining how their experiences motivated them to public service and social justice. In the essay, students are encouraged to document their participation in any or several of the following areas: activities with community organizations, Student Association activities (serving in the areas of education, human rights, civil rights, etc.), and other activities within the school and in the community.

Applicants can provide at least one or two references who can comment on the applicant’s qualifications regarding civic service and social justice efforts.
