Mata (Mother) Kartar Kaur Sangha-Shergil Memorial Scholarship

The Mata (Mother) Kartar Kaur Sangha-Shergil Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Kartar Kaur Sangha-Shergill, Hardev Shergill’s mother, who championed her children’s education, even as her own education was limited to primary school. Preference will be given for students who participate in one or more of the followin university-wide programs: Guardian Scholars; Parent and Families; Dreamer Resource Center; and CAMP. Student must complete a personal statement, not to exceed 250 words, describing your experience in a single-parent household and/or your experience as a refugee or immigrant to the United States.
