Lindsay J. Nedwin Memorial Nursing Scholarship

The Lindsay J. Nedwin Memorial Nursing Scholarship was created in memory of Lindsay J. Nedwin. Lindsay was a dedicated and compassionate nurse, who loved caring for her patients. She tragically passed away in 2020 after a 17-month battle against glioblastoma, at the young age of 32. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in Nursing from CSU Stanislaus. Lindsay worked as a cardiology nurse in Palm Springs, then at Sutter Hospital in San Francisco. This scholarship is intended to support students in the School of Nursing.

Minimum GPA: 3.4 GPA in good academic standing
Major: Nursing
Class Level (s): Sophomore, Junior, Senior
Financial Need Required: Financial need may be considered, but is not required.
Enrollment Requirements: At least part-time enrollment at time of award and at time of application. (half time & full time as defined by current Sacramento State catalog)

Applicants must write a statement, no longer than one page, demonstrating their interest in working in the field of nursing, demonstrating a strong commitment to patient care and the career of nursing
