Escalameza Scholarship

The Escalameza Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Dr. Alicia Meza’s beloved parents.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive this scholarship:

• minimum 3.0 overall GPA;
• limited to students accepted or enrolled in the teaching credential program with Bilingual Authorization;
• may be enrolled full or part-time;
• must be enrolled at the time of award;
• preference for students from a migrant farming background;
• with a demonstrated commitment to social action in the Mexican-American community;
• Proficient in Spanish
