Young Leadership Collaborative Scholarship

The Young Leadership Collaborative Scholarship Program was designed to increase the number of youths who can develop their economic capacities to succeed through personal finance and exploration into the world of entrepreneurship.

The program provides scholarships to scholars through a four-month program to equip future business leaders in Sacramento.

This program is structured to support and inspire students of color to be future entrepreneurs and leaders in the region and beyond. The program will be a fantastic opportunity for your students to uplift their community and themselves during these trying times.

YLC Program

1. The YLC program will be a ten (10) four-hour virtual session that will take place from 9 am to 1 pm “two”- Saturdays per month.
2. The session will begin on January to May of 2023. Additional dates may be added for presentation preparation.
3. Participants must be 16 – 23 years old.
   This is a cohort-based program that will include instruction by key business-minded leaders in our community through and group exercises, lectures, homework, and videos. Also, cohort members will be paired with a mentor to help guide them through their program.
4. The program is paid by generous grants from Wells Fargo Bank, PG&E, SMUD, UC Davis Health System. The facilitators will provide materials for participants.

The scholarship will be awarded to participants that complete the program.
